Hi, I'm Cassie, and I have a passion for helping people travel. Traveling means something different to everyone, so there's no one-size-fits-all advice for planning the perfect trip. Whatever your needs are, I'll work with you to plan a unique trip that inspires your passions and fits your lifestyle and budget. Travel Garden is a travel planning service, blog, and hopefully, a source of advice and inspiration to show that travel is for everyone. I love finding off-the-beaten-path gems and facilitating local experiences that allow travelers to truly immerse in a new place.
As a travel specialist, I work with people on everything from a car rental for a day-trip, to a custom-planned itinerary for an extended adventure. I travel as much as possible to maintain my expertise, including moving abroad. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I've also lived in Morocco (Marrakech), Spain (Murcia and Bilbao), Mexico (Patzcuaro and Sayulita), Portugal (Lagos), Australia (Melbourne), Thailand (Chiang Mai). I’m extremely passionate about creating meaningful experiences for travelers and helping people reach their own travel goals. Travel has given me so much, and I am excited by any chance to pay that forward.
Design Garden
There's a whole new side of Travel Garden! I now offer digital illustration and general graphic design services. My specialty is pet portraits, but I'm currently available for other commissions (logos, etc), just send me a message to get started!
My designs are available on a wide variety of products (t-shirts, stickers, shower curtains, miniskirts, masks, aprons, jigsaw puzzles, socks, etc.), check out the collection here.

A Little About Me
Cassie Hintz
Vagabond from Montana. Lover of mountains, good beer, and fluffy dogs.
In the last seven years, I've moved abroad seven times, to six countries, on five continents. I’ve lived with three host families and learned two new languages. I’ve skydived in Mexico, cliff jumped in Portugal, bungee-jumped in Spain, and hitch-hiked across Italy. I’ve hiked on frozen waterfalls in Croatia, navigated Amsterdam’s canals, bartended at an Ice Bar in Australia, and climbed dunes in Morocco.
I've been a canvasser and an organizer on political campaigns, worked at a grassroots non-profit, and worked at the Montana legislature. I worked at a science center for kids and taught English at a high school in the Basque Country (where I was also a live-in Au Pair). I've been a bartender (in Portugal), a cater-waiter, a waffle-maker, a dog-walker, an actress, and a jewelry-maker. I've also been a glass-blowing apprentice and a decorative wood-carving apprentice. I'm currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
